Job Purpose

We are looking for a suitably qualified candidate to provide operational and administrative support to the newly established university-level National Artificial Intelligence Institute (NAII).

Job Description

  • Perform as a secretariat for meetings.
  • Maintain Institute’s data including on affiliated members, grants and projects.
  • Coordinate the re-appointments of research staff and the engagement of students, interns and visitors and support with on-boarding of NAII faculty members.
  • Liaise with researchers and vendors on the procurement of goods and services.
  • Work with the NAII admin team to provide full spectrum of logistical support for Institute’s meetings, events as well as its participation in external events.
  • Oversee lab space matters including managing seat allocations, ensuring professional presentation for internal and external visitors.


In addition to the above, the candidate should perform other duties as assigned by the NAII Director.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Polytechnic Diploma holder, preferably 1-2 years of administrative experience
  • Good verbal & written communication and interpersonal skills with a positive work attitude
  • Strong organizational and coordination skills with the ability to multi-task
  • Proficient in MS Office applications (Word Excel, Excel, and PowerPoint)
  • Strong team player who is meticulous, resourceful, resilient and thrives in a fast-paced environment
  • The employment will be an initial period of 2 years, subject to renewal
