Responsibilities:
Assist in the basic preparation of dishes, following directions from senior chefs.
Continuously learn and adapt to new techniques and recipes in dish preparation.
Support the kitchen team in daily operations, ensuring timely execution of tasks.
Assist in managing inventory, including proper storage and handling of ingredients.
Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of kitchen equipment and workstations.
Work under the guidance of the senior chefs, contributing to team efforts.
Maintain clear communication with team members to ensure efficient workflow.
Follow all kitchen safety, hygiene, and quality standards.
Ensure compliance with standard operating procedures and kitchen policies.
Requirements:
Energetic, proactive, and resourceful.
Love delighting customers, able to take complete ownership of duties, and strive for excellence.
Fundamental skills in food preparation, with an eagerness to learn more.
Good communication skills for understanding and executing tasks.
Openness to learning new techniques and following instructions from senior chefs.
Consistency and dependability in performing assigned tasks.
Understanding of basic food safety, health, and hygiene practices.
A certificate or diploma in culinary arts is advantageous.
Flexibility to adapt to different tasks and a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Ability to collaborate effectively with other team members.
Passion for the F&B industry and sustainability.
