Qualifications:
At least 5 years of business development, commercialisation, licensing, innovation, venture creation, and/or related work experience, preferably in private-sector Pharma/Biotech.
Bachelor or Masters (PhD is advantageous) in biochemistry, biomedical / life sciences, biomedical engineering, business management with experience in a biomedical research environment, or an equivalent discipline.
Proven track record in a similar role, demonstrating the ability to lead and inspire teams.
Strong functional domain (Bioprocessing and Biomanufacturing/Small Molecule, Nucleic Acid and Gene Therapy, AI for Drug Discovery/Cell Therapy and Biologics) expertise, industry knowledge and experience in fostering R&D partnerships and commercialization strategies.
In-depth knowledge of drug discovery and development is preferred.
Experience in intellectual property management and business strategy development.
Proven ability to exert influence at multiple levels across an organisation with strong collaboration and persuasion skills to achieve intended outcomes.
Outstanding abilities for writing, oral communication, and presentations for a broad range of audience, including senior management.
Excellent interpersonal and conflict management skills.
Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Proactive team player motivated to deliver quickly and accurately.
