IT Programmer/Developer

• Responsible for in-house system development, testing, and implementation to enhance business operations and meet customer requirements effectively.
• Adhere to SDLC protocols, coding standards, and frameworks (Java, Python, SQL) to ensure efficient, reliable code with proper documentation of changes.
• Continuously improve system performance, quality, and responsiveness, particularly for manufacturing-related systems such as shop floor control, warehouse management, and supply chain systems.
• Collaborate with the solutions and systems architecture teams to develop new functionalities based on specifications, conduct unit testing, and assist in troubleshooting and resolving issues.
• Assess the feasibility of project requirements and provide realistic estimates, keeping the IT project team updated on timelines.
• Follow best practices to enhance coding skills and foster a strong development team to support internal operations.
• Manage the IT manifest repository, including source code check-ins and documentation.
• Conduct basic system analysis and propose practical solutions as needed.
• Provide backup support for various systems and extract production-related data to meet operational needs.
