Job Description

  • Working Location: Chinatown
  • Working Hours: 5 days (Mondays - Fridays 9.30 AM - 6.30 PM)
  • Salary Package: Basic Salary Up to $8000
  • Duration: Permanent Role

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess and determine the creditworthiness of SMEs and individuals by analyzing financial data, credit reports, and other relevant information.
  • Evaluate potential risks in credit offerings based on payment histories, financial health, industry trends, and economic conditions.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor credit risk policies and procedures to maintain effective risk management across the organization.
  • Use or enhance credit scoring models to quantify risks and support lending decisions.
  • Manage the credit portfolio by monitoring risks, analyzing performance, and devising risk mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory standards and compliance requirements in credit risk management.
  • Communicate credit assessments, decisions, and strategies to senior management and relevant teams.
  • Make informed decisions on credit applications, including approval/rejection, setting credit limits, and negotiating loan terms.
  • Any other task assigned by management.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or Accounting.
  • Min 5 years of experience in credit risk, underwriting, or portfolio management, with a demonstrated progression of skills.
  • Solid understanding of financial principles, credit risk metrics, and accounting.
  • Familiarity with credit risk management practices and regulatory requirements.
  • Proficiency in software tools for credit analysis, risk modeling, and portfolio management.
