Roles and Responsibilities
- Manage range of tasks relating to container lease payment for both payable and receivable
- Monitor and troubleshoot lease invoice process automation, check on and resolve any invoice discrepancies with stakeholders
- Process DV invoices of total loss container and conduct ad-hoc credit/debit adjustments as required
- Manage container total loss and revival in line with SOP
- Perform detailed evaluation on total loss request received from regional/local office
- Follow up with respective offices on TPB collection status and approve total loss request
- Evaluate requests and manage total loss revival process in liaison with stakeholders
- Manage container sale/disposal activity by executing sales process and promoting sales to meet scale adjustment target
- Handle bidding/negotiation with buyers and evaluate buyers' offers
- Participate in process automation and system improvement
- Handle other ad-hoc tasks as assigned
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in relevant field of study
- Proficiency in Google Workplace software and Microsoft Office software
- Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills, to work effectively across departments and cultures
- Highly organized, adaptable and effective team player, with attention to detail and the ability to multi-task
- Strong data analysis skills, able to troubleshoot and identify areas for improvement in business processes
- Open to learn and apply new technologies and methodologies
- Proficiency in data management software such as Tableau and Looker preferred
- Candidates with liner shipping experience in billing settlement and container inventory control/operations preferred
