WHO WE NEED

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to lead our finance team in Asia. This role is crucial in driving financial operations, compliance, and reporting across the region. The role will support both Thailand and Singapore financial operations.

The position will have one direct report, report to the US Accounting Manager and be located either in Rayong, Thailand or Singapore depending on the right candidate.

Qualifications:

  • BS degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 7+ years of experience in financial planning, analysis, modeling, and forecasting
  • Proven working experience as Accounting Manager, Accounting Supervisor or Finance Manager
  • 3+ years of experience in accounting relating to BOI.
  • Relevant certification (e.g. CMA or CPA) will be preferred.
  • TOEIC score is min. 850 or equivalent.
  • Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Teams, Excel, Word as well as Adobe Acrobat

WHAT YOU CAN DO FOR US

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the daily operations, ensure accurate and transparency of the accounting department including AP/AR, Cash Receipts, Payments, General Ledger, Payroll and Utilities, Treasury, Budgeting, Capital assets reconciliations, Fixed asset activity, Debt activity, Intercompany reconciliations, and follow Global process procedures as trained by Corporate Headquarters.
  • Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies and principles covering both BOI and Non-BOI.
  • Prepare monthly financial statements, provide revenue and expenditure variance analysis and feedback to department managers.
  • Consolidate annual budgeting and provide monthly budget monitoring to department head.
  • Manage cash forecast, cash flow and loan agreement.
  • Coordinate with tax agencies to resolve all tax related issues and assist to resolve all financial queries and statement analysis.
  • Establish and maintain fiscal files and records to document transactions.
  • Coordinate and complete annual audits.
  • Coordinate filings with company corporate secretary.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Other:

  • This position is based in a manufacturing facility, requiring occasional travel between Rayong, Thailand and Singapore.
  • The role may require working beyond standard business hours to meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with attention to detail.
  • The ability to adapt to changing regulations and work in a challenging environment.
  • Fluent in English, with proficiency in an additional Asian language (preferred).
  • Oracle EBS is (preferred).
