Key Responsibilities:

The Master Speakers Coach is responsible for training, mentoring, and developing individuals to become effective and engaging public speakers, using the Master Speakers Curriculum.

1. Coaching and Training:

  • Provide one-on-one coaching and group workshops to improve students’ public speaking abilities.
  • Teach and demonstrate effective communication techniques in various contexts.
  • Provide constructive feedback on speech content, structure, and delivery.

2. Customer Engagement:

  • Build strong rapport with students, understanding their unique challenges and goals.
  • Provide ongoing support and motivation to students throughout their training journey.
  • Organise and conduct practice sessions, including presentations and public speaking events.
  • Keep parents informed about their child's progress in class through regular updates.

3. Professional Development:

  • Continuously develop and refine public speaking skills and knowledge through research, practice, and participation in relevant professional events.
  • Embrace a growth mindset, welcoming feedback and peer review to improve performance and enhance expertise.

Qualifications:

1. Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Communication, Public Relations, Education, or a related field preferred.
  • Diploma holders are welcomed to apply.

2. Experience:

  • Preferably with 1 year of experience working with young children in theatre/speech & drama.
  • Public speaking coaching or training experience
  • Experience in developing public speaking curriculum (an added advantage)

3. Skills:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to provide constructive feedback in a supportive and motivational manner.
  • Knowledge of various public speaking techniques and styles.

4. Personal Attributes:

  • Passion for inspiring and nurturing young minds.
  • Eagerness to grow, learn, and innovate in teaching methodologies.
  • Strong passion for arts and drama.
  • Enjoy working with children and ability to connect with them effectively.
