This position ensures a high service and supports a cost effective logistics network. Defines, develops and reports on logistical efficiency within the organization. Proactively searches out ways of reducing costs and improving services. Monitors logistics service provider performance and drives for improvement. Works with stakeholders cross functionally across the organization as well as the vendor community to improve overall product flow. Develops network models, identifies inefficiencies and implements improvements to current logistics activities.
Job Description
- Ensure continual supply of products and shipment on time in full by managing daily operation/exception
- Red flag any potential risks and propose mitigation solution
- Space planning and monitoring especially during peak shipment season
- Maintain various system records with accurate data in a timely manner
- Prepare, build and analyze various logistics related reports with recommendation for management review and sustainability
- Manage 3PLs and air/ocean carriers to ensure operational performance are in accordance to SOPs and meet KPIs
- Identify cost efficiency opportunities and streamline current operational workflow through analysis of current
- Support global sourcing offices at HKG/BD/SGP and other internal functional teams at US headquarter
- Train and promote the supply chain/logistics initiatives to wider cross functional teams

Job Requirements
Education:
- Degree holder in logistics, supply chain management or business discipline
Experience:
- At least 6 progressive related experiences in logistics/supply chain operations in US/EU buying/sourcing offices
- Good knowledge of export customs procedures for shipments to US
Functional/Technical Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
- Self-motivated, able to work independently and under pressure
- Strong project management skills & time management
- Able to multi-task and possess a high level of initiative and integrity
- Resourceful and possesses excellent interpersonal skill, communication, problem solving and analytical skills
- Good command of both spoken and written English & Chinese to liaise with counterparts based in USA and China
- Preferably able to communicate in Cantonese to liaise with the HK counterparts
- Be proficient in Microsoft office with strong focus in Excel
