Role summary :

  • Leadership : Lead the supply chain team to ensure seamless end-to-end service, from processing customer orders to successful delivery.
  • Order Fulfillment : Ensure a smooth transition from order placement to delivery, maintaining optimal inventory levels to support market demand. Interdepartmental Collaboration : Work closely with the sales department to deliver the best customer experience, and partner with sales and marketing to identify and add new products offering to the catalogue.
  • Continuous Improvement : Regularly assess processes to identify gaps and implement efficiency improvements. Manage operational costs to achieve target EBIT. Customer Service : Deliver a high level of service, with prompt response times and proactive problem-solving to meet customer requests.
  • Inventory Planning & Purchasing : Regularly review safety stock levels to ensure the right stock is maintained to meet market demand, minimizing stock-outs while optimizing warehouse inventory.
  • Warehouse & Transport : Ensure accuracy in inventory and deliveries and maintain on-time delivery performance. Optimize warehouse storage, both internally and externally, while managing relationships with third-party warehouse and transport vendors.
  • Safety : Promote and maintain a high level of safety within the organization, working closely with the safety committee to ensure awareness and compliance.
  • Facility Management : Oversee the maintenance and compliance of company facilities, ensuring adherence to all regulatory requirements.


Key responsibilities and activities include, but is not limited to :

  • Develop and execute comprehensive supply chain strategies aligned with regional business objectives.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to standardize and align supply chain processes.
  • Manage and optimize logistics operations including transportation, warehousing, and distribution activities in Singapore.
  • Implement effective warehouse management practices to streamline inventory handling, storage, and order fulfilment processes.
  • Conduct regular analysis of supply chain metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
  • Oversee inventory management, demand forecasting, and procurement strategies to maintain optimal inventory levels while minimizing risks and costs.
  • Monitor market trends, industry developments, and customer demands to proactively address supply chain challenges.
  • Implement best practices and innovative solutions to enhance supply chain efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and agility.


Required Skills & Experience :

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 7-10 years of progressive experience in supply chain management within the MNC industry.
  • Strong understanding of logistics, distribution, import/export requirements, and customs practices.
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams, foster collaboration, and achieve results.
  • Proficiency in supply chain principles, logistics, procurement, inventory management, and demand forecasting.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience liaising effectively with counterparts in Malaysia, China & India.
