Job Description:
Proficient in reading and interpreting schematics, single-line diagrams (SLD), layouts, and control wiring drawings for motor control centers (MCC), distribution boards (DB), lighting boards, soft starters, drives, and earthing and lighting layouts.
Perform daily preventative maintenance and troubleshooting on plant-wide electrical and instrumentation systems. Installation, Configuration, calibration and troubleshooting of PT, DPT, LT, TT and Mass flow meter.
Hands on experience in BMS with HVAC, MV and LV Electrical systems.
Conduct of inspection, testing and repair of commissioning equipment on Instrument system, control and component.
Condition monitoring and predictive maintenance of critical instruments and take corrective actions to avoid breakdown.
Having good knowledge in megger test, PI test and gas detectors.
Ability to work on remove and reinstall units, configuring, calibrating and maintaining control, measurement and indicating instrumentation (Pneumatic, analog and digital).
Job Requirements:
Diploma in Control & Instrumentation or equivalent is an advantage.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical and instrumentation roles within the chemical processing or treatment plant industry.
Experience in DCS and MMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) is an advantage.
Ability to work weekends, holidays and respond to callouts on a non-routine basis.
