Job Description: We are seeking a motivated and organized Clinic Assistant to join our team at Reform Chiropractic. As a vital member of our clinic, you will play a key role in supporting our chiropractors and therapists in delivering exceptional care to our patients. Your responsibilities will include assisting with administrative tasks, coordinating patient schedules, and ensuring the smooth operation of our clinic environment.
Responsibilities:
- Greet patients and visitors warmly and ensure a positive clinic experience.
- Schedule patient appointments and manage the appointment calendar efficiently.
- Assist chiropractors and therapists with patient intake, including obtaining medical histories and posture screens.
- Prepare treatment rooms and equipment for chiropractic adjustments, decompression therapy, and clinical pilates sessions.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of treatment rooms and common areas.
- Process patient payments and handle billing inquiries accurately.
- Manage patient records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries promptly and professionally.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care and support.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification or training in healthcare administration is a plus.
- Prior experience in a medical or chiropractic office setting preferred but not required.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in basic computer skills and familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
