Mechanical Engineer

Job Description:

• Ensure that the civil and structural design and construction works comply with all the relevant statutory acts, Regulations and Engineering Codes of Practice.
• Coordinates with clients, vendors, subcontractors, engineering and procurement for all project activities.
• Prepare submissions and clear authorities’ requirements which will include drawings, design calculations and report writing and other relevant material to meet the submission requirements.
• Preparation of tender specifications and documentations.
• In charge of jobs control, planning, monitoring, progress and job cost reporting.
• Ensure all site projects are updated and closely monitor the progress of the project.
• Attend project meetings, & site inspections.
• Work as a team member with colleagues, clients/other consultants/contractors to complete within schedules.
• Other ad-hoc assignments assigned by Project Manager.

Qualifications:

• Degree /Diploma in Engineering or equivalent
• At least 3 -4 years of relevant work experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (e.g. Microsoft Excel, Word) and competent user of relevant design software.
• Good project management skills and strong analytical skills
• Strong team-player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Able to work under pressure and in fast-paced environment
• Able to work collaboratively with others

• Expected salary: $2,000 - $3,500 per month
