What a College Intern - Data Analytics/Engineering does at HP:

  • Open-minded interns will be assigned to projects involving either Data Analytics, SMART & Industry Manufacturing, R&D or Program Management with mentors to guide them along the way.
  • Our interns will have the opportunity to gain experience in product development, translating market needs into technical requirements, designing and testing product performance at the system level, resolving issues using structured lean problem-solving methods, collaborating with international teams, ensuring smooth product launches, and/or contributing to digital transformation and automation initiatives.

Individuals who do well in this role at HP, usually possess:

  • We are looking for interns with Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical/ Mechanical/Material Engineering/Industrial & System Engineering or a related field.
  • Knowledge or interest in inkjet printing systems, printhead integration, color science, reliability testing and statistics, and R&D product life cycle execution is a plus.
  • Ability to partner& work independently.
  • Ability to apply engineering fundamentals & concepts.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work and interact effectively with team members from other disciplines, cultures, organizations.
  • Teamwork and ability to collaborate and communicate ideas is highly valued.
  • Growth mindset.
  • Able to commit to a 5-6 months internship, starting in January 2025.
