Job Description:

Operate shearing machines and other equipment to cut materials per production specifications.
Set up and calibrate machines for optimal performance.
Inspect materials for defects and ensure quality control throughout the process.
Maintain equipment, perform routine maintenance, and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime.
Conduct preventive maintenance inspections to ensure efficient operation of machinery.
Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and timelines.
Document production activities and report any discrepancies.
Follow safety protocols and adhere to all company policies and quality standards.

Job Requirements:

Proven experience as a maintenance operator in an industrial setting, preferably in transformer manufacturing.
Knowledge of shearing equipment operation and maintenance procedures.
Basic understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
Ability to read technical manuals and schematics.
Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
Physical stamina and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification is a plus.
