Account Manager - Singapore

CALGAZ, a division of Airgas USA, LLC, the global leader in specialty calibration
gases, is seeking an Account Manager - Singapore.

Key Responsibilities:
-Focus on Asia Pacific market; gain understanding of the routes to markets to include
logistical and product products needed
-Work with the Business manager and VP Sales to develop and maintain customer
database, contact management system & collate market intelligence
-Data will be inputted timely in our sales pipeline database
-Provide sales solutions and training to support global customers
-Target and communicate with all customer locations throughout the region
-Ability to negotiate, close and manage contracts
-Work to introduce new products/services and promote calibration culture
-Update all relevant sales leads into the Calgaz - Sale Pipeline Database in a timely
manner
-Work closely with Logistics Partner to maintain & augment delivery performance and
stock requirements
-Meet sales and OI targets defined by Commercial Director and communicate
information
-Work and communicates closely with Calgaz global team in order to achieve Calgaz
goals
-Ensure customer retention:
-Become the customer advocate within Air Liquide Affiliates and Airgas.
-Monitor customer satisfaction and resolve their concerns
-Verify that customer inquiries and orders are administered accurately
-Know when accounts are at risk by constantly monitoring competitors, competitive
products and maintaining the competitive database
-Valued customer resource for business development and Calgaz capabilities
-Manage portfolio to maximize profitability:
-Implement price attainment to achieve objectives
-Responsibility for managing travel and expense budget set forth by company
-Meets or exceeds the company's safety standards
-Has no personal, recordable accidents
-Has no vehicular, chargeable accidents
-Promotes safety through actions and attending safety meetings
-Ensures compliance with local HSE regulations
-Pursue Calgaz strategy to support OEM's and Distributors
-Manages and builds relationships at all levels with existing key accounts

Are you a MATCH?

General Requirements:
-Proven ability to sell
-Knowledge of the targeted industry preferably (Safety, Industrial Hygiene Oil &Gas,
Marine Industries) including the leaders and their strategies
-Excellent written, oral and presentation skills
-Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, PowerPoint

-Oracle, and other proprietary software
-Multi-lingual is preferred; with a proficiency in English required
-Must be able to travel extensively both domestically and internationally

Education and Experience:
-Bachelor/College degree (in Science preferable)
-5 + years of progressively responsible experience in selling or marketing;
-2-3 years in the particular industry targeted
