Job Scope

Lead the development and execution of physician engagement programs and scientific communication plans in the APAC region (excluding China and Japan). As a subject matter expert, responsibilities include developing, managing, and executing initiatives for engaging with and developing the neurovascular physician community. Contribute to the selection of speakers and development of content for medical/scientific congresses, dissemination of scientific data for utilization with a wider group of external audiences (e.g., scientists, HCPs), as well as support peer-to-peer clinical education programs. Play an integral and critical role in maintaining strong successful relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment with the overall strategy and communication objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage regional proctor programs
  • Collaborate with internal cross-functional partners and HCPs in the development of scientific communication, product information, and clinical data content for scientific/medical conferences and peer-to-peer training and education
  • Identify and implement program enhancements and develop relevant metrics and key performance indicators to assure maximization of performance
  • Participate in professional society meetings/tradeshows
  • Provide input and support the PACE strategy of medical/scientific podium presentations and company-sponsored symposiums
  • Develop and cultivate strong relationships with internal stakeholders, HCPs/KOLs, academic institutions, hospitals, scientific societies, and associations to build advocacy for MicroVention Technology
  • Provide mentorship to Specialist, Clinical Education and Training Coordinator
  • Work closely with the Sr Director of PACE Int’l to support and guide the team in the development of annual HCP engagement strategic plans, as well as product and clinical education training curricula
  • Define regional conference/congress strategy, manage, and lead cross-functional alignment meetings with key stakeholders leading up to the event
  • Comply with applicable laws and regulations, adhere to Quality Management System processes and requirements, and demonstrate ethics and integrity in all matters and at all levels throughout the organization
  • Conduct business activities in accordance with MVI corporate policies
  • Accept and lead special projects as assigned

Qualification Requirements

  • Proven clinical and scientific acumen, for use in various circumstances, including working with internal stakeholders and HCPs in identifying evidence gaps and opportunities
  • Clinical disease state and therapy knowledge in the neurovascular interventional field or interventional procedures
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships and communicate effectively with people of varied professional, cultural, and educational backgrounds
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and successfully in a fast-paced environment
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher academic certification
  • Minimum eight (8) years of relevant professional experience within the medical device, pharmaceutical, hospital, or healthcare industries
  • Minimum two (2) years of management responsibility
  • Neurovascular, peripheral vascular, or cardiovascular medical device experience and clinical disease state knowledge
  • Experience in communicating scientific/clinical data information, including the development of clinical data communication strategies/plans
  • Proven successful project management skills with the ability to effectively multi-task and prioritize projects
  • Expertise in Microsoft Office Suite, including advanced PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, and related systems
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, and facilitation skills, with the ability to communicate complex information in a virtual environment
  • Ability to analyze, interpret, and summarize clinical data and/or scientific research
  • Ability to interact professionally with all organizational levels and proactively escalate issues to appropriate levels of management in the organization
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment
