Key Responsibilities

  • Provide onsite and remote end user, network, server support for Chubb Singapore office and site locations.
  • Tracking & documenting support activities using ticketing system.
  • Proactively troubleshoot issues and resolve them in a timely manner.
  • Manage assets within the organization and perform tech refresh at stipulated periods.
  • Implement applications and software upgrades, perform troubleshooting and fine tuning for users.
  • Provide end user and technical support for Windows and mobile OS (iOS, Android), File and Print, Office365 services (Office suite, Outlook, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams etc.).
  • Participate in IT projects, provide system related advice and recommendation.
  • Provide user training where necessary.
  • Liaise with IT in HQ with regards to projects or IT issues.
  • Work with vendors to setup new systems or resolve issues experienced by business users in a timely manner.
  • Other ad-hoc duties assigned by manager.

Desired Skills & Experiences

  • Diploma / Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.
  • At least 3 years experience in EUC support.
  • Fundamental knowledge of network and server administration. i.e. LAN & WAN, firewall, load balancers, VLAN, Azure, physical server setup.
  • Basic understanding of enterprise routers, switches, firewalls, especially Cisco.
  • Sound analytical and problem solving skills with regards to end user, network and server issues.
  • Possess an aptitude for acquiring new skills and knowledge.
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and work on multiple assignments.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Experience with working and managing IT support vendors.
  • Possess an understanding of the following:
  • Windows 10, iOS and Android OS
  • Office 365, including Outlook, Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive.
