What a College Intern - Software Firmware Engineering does at HP:

  • Design enhancements and programming changes for portions and subsystems of embedded firmware for HP print products and solutions, including networking, user interface, print mechanism, device drivers and etc.
  • Analyze design and determine coding and integration activities required based on general objectives and knowledge of overall architecture of product or solution.
  • Write automated tests and execute complete testing plans, protocols, and documentation for assigned portion of the application.

Are you a high performer? We are looking for an individual with:

  • Education in Computer/Electronics Engineering or Computer Science.
  • Knowledge in Linux, Python (or other scripting language) C, C++ and test automation.
  • Understanding of basic testing, coding and debugging procedures.
  • Good analytical skills, ability to think out of box, work with minimal guidance and under tight schedule.
