IMPORT EXPORT EXECUTIVE

Exports Responsibilities:

Devise and execute strategies to streamline export operations and enhance efficiency.
Oversee and coordinate the export process to ensure timely loading of shipments and compliance with regulations.
Prepare, review, and manage export documentation such as bookings, invoices, shipping documents, pre-alerts, and cargo status updates.
Ensure data entry accuracy into the system.
Collaborate with freight forwarders, carriers, co-loaders, and logistics partners to arrange shipments and negotiate competitive rates.
Stay informed and up-to-date with international trade laws, regulations, and compliance requirements.
Address and resolve any issues or delays encountered during the shipment process.
Analyse market trends, identify potential trade routes, and develop strategies accordingly.
Work closely with internal teams including sales, customer service, DG, and import pricing to ensure seamless export operations.
Maintain precise records of shipment costs in compliance with established procedures and KPIs to meet ISO standards.
Adhere to Export SOPs while performing assigned duties and responsibilities.
Perform additional tasks as required and assigned.

Transhipment Responsibilities:

Handle transhipment enquiries, including quotations for L/L, O/W, odd-size cargoes, surcharges, and door enquiries.
Manage TS rates disputes and ensure smooth communication with stakeholders.
Monitor cargo status and provide uncollected/abandonment advice to POL.
Oversee cargo acceptance and ensure regulatory compliance.
Verify THBL and request amended documents as needed.
Request and manage all relevant documents required for export shipments from POL.



Candidate will be assigned to a specific department based on their experience in Import, Export, Customer Service or Sales.
Candidates with no prior experience but with the right attitude will also be considered.
