Position title: Events & Operations Assistant (FDG Team)

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

FDG Events and Logistics (50%):

Collaborate with the Line Manager to plan and execute impactful face-to-face fundraising events.

Secure high-quality venues that align with our mission and enhance donor engagement.

Negotiate cost-effective partnerships for events within the FDG team.

Contact and maintain relationships with mall and corporate contacts for FDG events.

Coordinate with logistics vendors for event setup and teardown (80% events, 20% street activities).

Manage event scheduling and vendor coordination.

Handle administrative tasks related to event logistics and fundraising locations.

Develop and update a Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for FDG Events

Procure and prepare FDG merchandise as required for events.

Train department representatives on merchandise ordering processes to enable independent action, when needed.

FDG Operations and Campaigns (50%):

Collaborate with the Line Manager and WWF Content Team to streamline campaign execution for FDG.

Support procurement of essential materials for FDG activities.

Provide comprehensive administrative and operational support to ensure team readiness.

Implement rigorous quality control measures for fundraising equipment and campaign resources.

Manage supplier relationships and oversee invoicing for software tools, platforms, materials, and services.

Assist with fulfillment tasks including preparation, mailing, and inventory management of supporter gifts.

Maintain accurate inventory records to support efficient resource allocation.

Provide full-cycle support for FDG events.

Required Qualifications, Skills and Competencies:

Diploma in Marketing, Events Management, Public Relations, Communications, Management, or related fields.

Experience in fundraising and/or events management, including interaction with venue owners, managers, and logistics vendors.
