The SEO Team Lead will be responsible for managing a team of SEO Account Managers and ensuring that all client deliverables are met.

In this role, you will need to have a deep understanding of all aspects of SEO, including on-page optimisation, link building, and content marketing. You will also need to be able to effectively communicate with clients and other members of the team.

The ideal candidate for this position will have a minimum of four years of experience in an SEO-related role. If you are passionate about SEO and have a track record of success, we want to hear from you!

Job Description

As a SEO team lead in OOm, your main responsibility is to grow your team's portfolio, achieve revenue targets, and ensure client satisfaction. You will do that through:

  • Weekly reporting & projection of closure amount and closure date of your team's renewing accounts
  • Motivating & guiding your team towards achieving their individual targets
  • Ensuring that the team delivers top quality work in terms of results, timeline management and rapport building
  • Conducting quarterly performance reviews of all members of the team, offering feedback on areas for improvement
  • Ensuring that the team is properly trained on all products and services offered by the company
  • Training new team members in company policies and procedures
  • This may include training to fill up on-the-job gaps such as:
  • Account Management & Strategy Planning
  • Game Planning
  • Guide team members in establishing clear objectives for each pipeline in the sheet.
  • Guide team members in establishing clear plans on how to achieve each objective within the specified timeline.
  • Guide team members to identify potential pitfalls and prepare solutions to mitigate the pitfalls.
  • Onboarding Process
  • Technical Knowledge
  • Development of Performance Review Decks
  • Conducting monthly huddle with individual team members to evaluate staff morale and assess gaps and areas for improvement
  • Managing client's accounts directly if needed
  • Recruit and groom hires into successful account managers

We’re looking for you if…

  • Able to start immediately or within 1 month notice period
  • Minimum 4 years experience in a digital marketing agency
  • Minimum 2 years experience managing a digital marketing team
  • You possess a good to excellent understanding of search engine algorithms and technicalities.
  • You have a good understanding and knowledge of technical SEO.
  • You are a detail-oriented individual with a love for problem-solving.
  • You rely on your interpersonal skills to help you meet and gel with new individuals.
  • You are able to think with the client’s needs in mind and deliver innovative and effective solutions according to their requirements.
  • You thrive on multitasking and find adrenaline from working on multiple accounts including daily data analysis.
  • Possesses strong client management ability

  • Collaborator with an ability to influence partners and teams to pursue a common goal
  • Skills that are good to have: Copywriting, Design, SEO, SEM, GA, Google Data Studio, AHREFS, CMS (Wordpress, Shopify)
