  1. Make sure the webpage is open.
  2. In the Safari app on your Mac, choose Safari > Preferences, then click Security.
  3. Make sure the Enable JavaScript checkbox is selected.
  4. Click Websites.
  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

Our client is a well-known/highly attractive investment firm with offices across the US, Europe and Asia. They work on a variety of transactions that cover private and public credit based markets.

You will be joining an established global team with oversight to grow and develop the legal function in Asia and with the opportunity to be involved in EMEA related projects.

  • Transactional: 60%
  • General Corporate & Commercial: 20%
  • Regulatory & Compliance: 20%

Job Description

  • In this newly created role, you will support the APAC MD and wider Asia based team with on-going transactions, offering legal and commercial guidance as well as project management support.
  • Drafting and negotiating various agreements such as distribution, third party, investment management and marketing.
  • Working closely with front office teams around new products / fund launches
  • You will work closely with the General Counsel to support other regions such as EMEA.

Requirements

  • 6 - 12 PQE
  • Trained at a reputable law firm
  • Experience In-House - essential (secondments accepted)
  • Experience working with investment teams / management firms - essential
  • Experience working across credit markets - desirable
  • Ability to work independently and then form part of a global legal team with global projects - essential
