About the Role:

  • Manage and provide support for hardware and software components within the network infrastructure, encompassing operating systems, routers, switches, firewalls, wireless technologies, SDN, and office IT systems.
  • On-call duties may be required (24/7), with occasional ad-hoc maintenance tasks.

About the Requirements:

General:

  • Possess 3-5 years of experience in network infrastructure.
  • Self-motivated with a strong sense of responsibility and urgency.
  • Diligent in documentation, reporting, and task tracking.
  • Demonstrate analytical skills for issue resolution, with the ability to work independently and under pressure.
  • Proficient in time management, communication, interpersonal relations, and problem-solving, fostering a customer-friendly attitude and teamwork.

IT Knowledge:

  • Proficient in troubleshooting and hands-on experience with WAN and LAN technologies (SD-WAN, MPLS, VOIP, WAN Optimizer).
  • Knowledgeable about routers and routing protocols.
  • Familiarity with Layer 2 and 3 LAN switches.
  • Competent in both general and Next-Gen firewalls.
  • Experience with on-premises and cloud-based wireless controllers and access points.
  • Familiarity with Cisco Unified Communications and IP telephony technologies (a plus).
  • Understanding of Azure and AWS networking.
  • Proficiency in network security solutions such as firewalls, CPE-based IPSec VPN solutions, token-based authentication, IDS, data encryption, and PIN verification.

Administrative Support:

  • Knowledge of routing protocols.
  • Competence in LAN switching (Bridge ID, STP, LACP, VLANs, and VLAN routing).
  • Experience with wireless access and authentication.
  • Familiarity with firewall rules and policies.
  • Ability to perform configuration backup and maintain documentation.
  • Competent in monitoring and analysis of network performance.

Technical Support:

  • Timely response and support within service level agreements.
  • Effective incident/problem troubleshooting, fault clarification, and isolation.
  • Provision of workarounds and resolutions.
  • Clear communication and reporting of technical issues.
  • Application of vulnerability/security updates and firmware patches.
  • Execution of firmware upgrades.
