Job Description

  • Industry/ Organization Type: Food Manufacturing/ Production
  • Position Title: Accounts Assistant
  • Working Location: Woodlands (Nearest MRT: Admiralty)
  • Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8.30 am – 5.30 pm
  • Salary Package: Up to $3,000 + AWS + Bonus
  • Duration: Permanent

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the manager in overseeing Accounts department functions, including monthly and year-end closing.
  • Support the manager with the yearly financial audit.
  • Perform bank reconciliation and GST submissions.
  • Handle Accounts Payable functions: process supplier invoices into the accounting system and arrange bank transfers for payment.
  • Manage Accounts Receivable functions: update customer payments, prepare monthly statements of accounts, aging reports, and assist with the sales commission system.
  • Review and monitor the work of the outsourced accounting company responsible for management reports, GST, and annual tax returns.
  • Ensure the accounting process complies with legal requirements.
  • Assist with the preparation of other regulatory submissions.
  • Perform any other ad hoc duties as assigned.

  • At least a Diploma in Business/ Accountancy with at least 1 year of working experience in the manufacturing industry.
  • Experience in MYOB/ABSS accounting system is an advantage.
  • Proficient with MS Office, and Google Office.
  • Able to commence immediately or with short notice.
