Senior Mechanical Engineer (Jurong Island)

1. Safety

• Ensure adherence to the Job Order and Work Permit system, striving for zero accidents by following all safety rules and regulations in accordance with the company's Industrial Management System (IMS) and the Workplace Safety & Health Act.

• Actively participate in safety meetings and promote a culture of safety among team members.

• Ensure that the facility operates in a safe, reliable, and efficient manner while prioritizing environmental preservation.

2. Maintenance Management ​

• Take ownership of all mechanical equipment, including both static and rotating equipment.

• Plan and execute scheduled maintenance programs for static and rotating equipment within the facility.

• Ensure that maintenance activities are completed within the allocated budget.

• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities in the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) (MAXIMO).

• Prepare a monthly maintenance report.

• Assume responsibility for additional work activities as assigned by the Maintenance Manager.

• Oversee the execution of equipment upgrading projects, requirements, and new installations within the facilities.

• Ensure the availability of spare parts needed for both routine and non-routine maintenance activities.

3. IMS Functions ​

• Ensure that the maintenance program is established and aligned with the overall maintenance strategy. Confirm that operating manuals and facility Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) are developed according to the IMS program of the subsidiary.

• Be responsible for quality and safety audits related to mechanical operations.

• Review and update Mechanical Maintenance Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

• Ensure that skills, competencies, and resources are adequate for effective maintenance operations.

• Coordinate with regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with government and corporate standards.

4. Training and Qualification

• Facilitate training for team members.Complete training on schedule as per planning.

• Ensure compliance with legal requirements.

Are you a MATCH?

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent

• 5 years experience in maintenance / service / commissioning Oil and Gas or petrochemical industry

• Excellent interpersonal skill

• Working understanding of process equipment and technology used in the facility

• Working understanding of mandatory regulatory requirements applicable to the operations of the facility.

• Excellent problem solving skills

• Customer-oriented approach
