We are seeking a dedicated IDC (Internet Data Center) Operations Security Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in managing security aspects of data center infrastructure, including servers, storage, networking equipment, and data handling processes. This role focuses on ensuring compliance with both internal and external regulations while enhancing the security and operational integrity of the data center.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage day-to-day security of data center infrastructure, including physical and digital assets.
  • Implement and maintain access control lists (ACL), audit security policies, and manage system user permissions to ensure optimal security.
  • Ensure data center security is compliant with industry standards and regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR, ISO 27001, etc.).
  • Perform risk assessments, identify vulnerabilities, and implement corrective actions to mitigate security risks.
  • Lead incident response efforts for security breaches or non-compliance issues, working closely with the IT and operations teams.
  • Conduct regular security audits to ensure compliance with both internal and external standards. Prepare reports and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Partner with IDC teams to support security implementations, upgrades, and enhancements while ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve security processes and standards for data center infrastructure.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in IDC operations with a focus on security, compliance, and infrastructure management.
  • Proficiency in managing security for servers, storage, and network equipment.
  • Hands-on experience with access control auditing (ACL auditing) and security policies.
  • Familiarity with data center compliance standards (e.g., ISO 27001, SOC 2).
  • Experience in incident management and resolution.
  • Knowledge of risk assessment methodologies and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Relevant security certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA are preferred.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
