Senior Commercial Executive (Conversions)

This role is to support the Group’s vessel conversion projects business including, but not limited to, marketing initiatives, commercial enquiry review / follow-up, project management / execution and any other related tasks that is deemed relevant and necessary.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

• Compile customer enquiries, tenders and/ or Request for Quotations (RFQs) and follow through according to customer’s specifications and requirements.
• Produce Excel Model for price/ cost analysis.
• Interpret the technical specifications/ requirements/ engineering drawings and prepare commercial proposal/ bid for submission through coordination with various stakeholders in the Shipyard/Group.
• Compile Pre-qualifications and clarifications between customer and Shipyard/Group.
• Monitor and ensure various datelines by customer are strictly followed.
• Support Project Management during project execution on cost estimate of variation orders and billing to customer.
• Maintain and cultivate good relationship with existing and potential associates/customers through regular communication.
• Comply with Company’s HSE and Quality policies through participation in safety and quality initiatives.
• Work with assigned Project Planner and Project Manager to plan, generate, and maintain construction schedule of assigned projects.
• Support communications between customer and internal project team.
• Gather market information from different sources to complement business forecasts.

• Diploma or Degree in Business or Engineering field
• At least 5-8 years of relevant industry experience including a minimum of 3 years in commercial roles and in addition, preferably also with experience in module construction and project management.
• Able to read, interpret and prepare applicable technical / commercial information including proposal, Engineering Drawings and suggest process changes to ensure functional and cost-effective results.
• Possess commercial acumen
• Knowledge of Excel Modelling
