  • Title: Intern – WB Equipment Engineer​

  • Description: Work on OEE Improvement project for CR2/Wirebond process. The Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) is a measure we use to evaluate the productiveness of a machine or a production line. OEE is a key component of asset utilization to ensure maximum output with minimal costs and needs to be as high as possible. This is part of a continuous drive to improve the OEE to maintain competitive advantage in this industry.​​

  • Project Scope: In this project, the student will be introduced to the concept of OEE and gain technical knowledge on the identified tool. He/ She will study the operation of the new tool and apply technical knowledge to understand the constraints and limitations to enable a breakthrough in OEE improvement. In the course of work, the student will have an opportunity to work with engineers, operators and technicians from various departments, gain technical knowledge and insight, and see the big picture of how the OEE is able to help maintain a competitive advantage in this industry ​​

  • Deliverable: To identify opportunities and suggest innovative solutions to improve the OEE for Wirebond​
