PURPOSE

To perform Life product pricing and be involved in product development through to product launches.

KEY ACCOUNTAIBILITIES

  • Support Pricing Manager and/or Head of Pricing in product pricing tasks, including product feasibility assessment, building pricing model, propose assumptions, perform financial calculations, sensitivity testing, completing pricing report and regulatory filing.
  • Collaborate closely with the team and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure new products are launched successfully complete with robust checks, integration of full workflow and compliance to relevant policies, regulations and guidelines.
  • Develop strong culture of product innovation through collaboration with partners, customers, internal stakeholder and re-insurers.
  • Pro-active in identifying product and pricing risks and propose solutions.
  • Pro-active in acquiring the necessary technical actuarial knowledge to carry out routine pricing tasks, including (but not limited to) RBC2, EV, Prophet, IFRS17 etc.
  • Support in ad-hoc projects to deliver business requirements and KPIs.

QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE

  • Degree-holder with 3 - 5 years of experiences in life insurance companies

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITY

  • Strong knowledge about life insurance industry
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Good exam progress
