About The Job
Reporting to the Head of Finance, you will oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of the shared service accounting team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of financial reporting, managing the preparation and analysis of financial data, and coordinating with various departments and stakeholders to ensure smooth service delivery. Your expertise in financial processes will drive improvements in accounting operations, and you will be pivotal in establishing and enforcing best practices for accounting methods and principles. This role involves collaborating closely with the Corporate Tax team, supporting audits, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards. Leading a team, you will assign and manage projects while overseeing the preparation of financial statements and contributing to strategic financial planning.
Job Requirements
Degree holder in Finance, Accounting or relevant disciplines with professional qualifications
Prior experience in supervisory capacity with strong leadership skills to manage a team.
Proficiency with ERP systems like SAP and other financial tools are highly desirable
Demonstrated ability to process and analyse large volumes of financial data.
Solid understanding of accounting principles, standards, laws, and regulations.
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in all financial activities.
CPA or equivalent professional accounting qualification (ACCA, CIMA, etc.), with a degree in Accounting.
Experience with J-SOX standards and audit coordination
