What the role is

The Manager for the Quality Management Division will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and compliance of training courses in alignment with our organizational mission, vision, and values.

What you will be working on

Reporting to the Team Lead, this role involves conducting course quality checks, supporting data analysis, managing system testing, handling escalated inquiries, and collaborating with various stakeholders to implement quality management initiatives.

Quality Assurance and Compliance

  • Conduct course quality checks: Review course applications, materials, and assessment records against adult learning principles and SSG requirements
  • Handle escalated inquiries/appeals: Manage and resolve escalated inquiries relating to courses, from the public and training providers, ensuring compliance with SSG’s terms and conditions.

Data Analysis and Research

  • Perform data retrieval: Support analysis, research, engagements and operational work through effective data retrieval.

System Testing and Support

  • Support system testing: Conduct system testing, course tagging, and manage Change Requests under the Training Grants System (TGS) or other systems.

Stakeholder Engagement and Collaboration

  • Engage and collaborate: Work with entities, other agencies, and internal divisions to implement quality management initiatives.

Project and Task Management

  • Support projects and tasks: Contribute to various projects and tasks to achieve organizational and divisional goals.

What we are looking for

  • Tertiary qualifications
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience, preferably in Continuing Training Education (CET)
  • Strong command of English for both oral and written communication.
  • Experience or appreciation of adult education in Singapore. Candidates with WSQ Advanced Certificate in Learning and Performance (ACLP) or WSQ Advanced Certificate in Training and Assessment (ACTA) qualifications are preferred
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills: Ability to analyse data effectively
  • Good project management skills for timely delivery of projects and tasks
  • Personal attributes: Fast learner, open-minded, resourceful, meticulous, collaborative, driven, and adaptable to a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment
