The Associate Director, HR Operations sits within the Global HR Leadership team as a Center of Excellence for Payroll, HR Operations, HRIS Management and Reporting.

Reporting directly to the CHRO the role overseas a small team currently providing operations support for Singapore and Southeast Asia. Following business acquisition, the HR team are undergoing a transformation to ONE HR TEAM meaning that this role has plenty of scope to create and design fit for purpose harmonized processes to improve delivery across the ESR business.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Lead and manage the HR Operations team, comprising of HRIS, Payroll and HR Operations Executives
  • Define Processes and deliver HR operations including employee lifecycle administration, contract management, staff confirmations/conversions and transfers, retirements, and re-employments.
  • Provide oversight of the HR information system, ensuring data accuracy and drive project initiatives by leveraging technology to enhance departmental efficiency.
  • Design, review, and implement improvements in work processes and system enhancements working closely with the HR Business Partners and COEs.
  • Ensure work processes comply with HR policies and statutory regulations.
  • Supervise Singapore payroll processing, with potential expansion to SEA and globally in the mid to long term.
  • Manage, coach, and develop the team, enhancing their ability to handle daily operations and complex issues.
  • Actively engage and collaborate with organizational stakeholders.
  • Handle HR Reports both by standardizing the offering and responding to ad hoc requests
  • Coordinate internal and external auditing processes ensuring data accuracy and compliance

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Comprehensive knowledge of employee lifecycle management, payroll and HR Shared Services functionality across Southeast Asia
  • Previous experience of HR Operations process design, ideally including M&A harmonization efforts
  • Experience using BIPO would be highly advantageous
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Keen eye for detail, proactive, and analytical with a growth mindset
  • A collaborative team player who can also work independently and interact effectively with stakeholders to achieve service excellence
  • This role will be office based in Singapore Suntec
  • Excellent command of English
  • An additional SEA relevant language would be advantageous
  • Singapore Citizen, PR or other right to work candidate applicants only – no visa sponsorship is offered for this role
