  • Guide and inspire the production team in machining and assembling precision parts to meet customer demands.
  • Oversee hiring, performance management, training, and mentoring of team members, aligning their growth with business goals. Recognize and reward efforts.

  • Handle daily production, capacity planning, and machine optimization.
  • Participate in Lean/Kaizen projects to improve processes.

  • Manage consumable spending, delivery metrics, capacity planning, risk assessment, TPM, and OEE.

  • Identify and implement opportunities to enhance production efficiency and reduce waste.

  • Handle employee grievances and disciplinary issues fairly and consistently.
  • Manage attendance, leave schedules, overtime, and conduct annual performance reviews. Ensure overtime is within statutory limits.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • 5-7 years in production/operations within a manufacturing environment, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role.
  • Strong leadership skills and effective communication with support groups and departments.
  • Ability to multitask, manage tight deadlines, and maintain high attention to detail.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, analytical, and planning skills.
  • Highly motivated, team-oriented, and adaptable to dynamic environments.
  • Acts with integrity and upholds high ethical standards.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Familiar with Lean manufacturing principles.
  • Good understanding of machining and metal fabrication processes. Experience in CNC machining and programming is a plus.
