  1. Make sure the webpage is open.
  2. In the Safari app on your Mac, choose Safari > Preferences, then click Security.
  3. Make sure the Enable JavaScript checkbox is selected.
  4. Click Websites.
  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

  2. Click. then Settings.
  3. Click Privacy and Security.
  4. Click Site settings.
  5. Click JavaScript.

The Interior Designer will collaborate closely with Architect/Senior Designer to design and document the design, finishes, furniture, and equipment for various projects. This role also involves visualizing spaces for internal and client review. At Kaizen Architecture, we believe that an Interior Designer should be creative, articulate, organized, and responsible, with experience in workplace or hospitality projects.

Experience
  • Minimum of 3 years of related experience working in a design studio in a similar position

Qualifications, Skills, And Software
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD 2015 (mandatory).
  • Proficiency in SketchUp (mandatory).
  • Proficiency in Photoshop (mandatory).
  • Familiarity with Adobe InDesign (desirable).
  • Familiarity with Illustrator (desirable).

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the team in the conceptualization and development of projects through SketchUp and Adobe Creative Suite tools.
  • Assist the team with space planning and furniture layouts.
  • Select finishes for review and use in projects.
  • Assist with the preparation of project presentation materials such as boards, PowerPoints, and 3D mockups.
  • Assist in sub-consultant coordination related to interior design to maintain the integrity of the design intent.
  • Develop and maintain vendor relationships to source project materials.
  • Document finishes on construction documents and specifications.
  • Perform other responsibilities as assigned.
