Are you a detail-oriented and analytical individual with a passion for finance and accounting? Our company is seeking a Finance and Accounting Intern to join our team and help us manage our financial operations. As a Finance & Accounting Intern, you will work closely with our finance team to support initiatives such as financial operations and management reporting. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support transactions relating to the accounts receivable or accounts payable functions (e.g. invoicing, processing receipts from customers, payments to suppliers, checking of monthly reports)
• Assist in month-end closing related tasks and gain exposure to different journal entries passed for various accounting functions
• Work extensively with spreadsheets and assist in the migration of accounting system
• Assist the team to perform control checks on finance process and provide inputs to enhance the existing policy
• Participate in cross-functional discussions to ensure financial initiatives align with business objectives for ongoing and new initiatives
• Support budgeting and forecasting efforts, including collecting and analyzing data
• Other ad-hoc duties, as assigned

Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Knowledge of financial reporting and analysis.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Creative and innovative mindset with a willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
