Your role and responsibilities

Join us as an Operation Engineer/Planner for the Motion Business area where you will b e leading our workshop operations, ensuring efficient VSD repairs, maintenance, and testing while maximizing productivity, profitability, and revenue generation. You will be a strong leader, fostering a culture of safety and quality within the workshop.

Reporting to the Service Manager and this position is based in Singapore.

Identifying opportunities for process optimization, cost reduction, within the context of supporting local/regional business. Deployment of workshop team in troubleshooting, repairing, and testing VSDs

Possessing a deep understanding of VSD operation, maintenance best practices, and safety protocols

Developing and implementing strategic plans to optimize workshop productivity and resource utilization

Fostering a positive and safe work environment, prioritizing employee development. Ensuring efficient scheduling and on-time delivery of workshop services

Conducting risk assessments and implement measures to mitigate risks in the workshop

Providing clear and concise cost estimates and lead times for workshop services

Promoting the value proposition of workshop services to internal and external customers, particularly within the region

Preparing professional service/repair/maintenance reports and keep customers updated on base installations


Qualifications For The Role

  • Experience in a workshop environment
  • Strong understanding process optimization and software implementation
  • Excellent leadership, communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • Proven ability to delegate effectively, motivate and develop staff
  • Strong business acumen and a results-oriented mindset and strong commitment to safety and quality in the workplace
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Fluency in English
