VK Transformation is an 8-year-old strategic consulting and digital marketing agency. We are looking for a content strategist to join our team to support the content marketing initiatives of VK Transformation and our clients. The role will support the team in deploying cohesive content strategies that drive business goals for our clients, predominantly in social media and website content copywriting.

What You Will Learn

You will work closely with key stakeholders to plan, oversee and execute content strategies from start to end, gain real-life client project experiences, enhance strategic and creative thinking in addressing business challenges related to the value proposition, messaging and communication, gain the opportunity to apply data-driven insights from keywords analysis and web analytics to improve communication and content delivery and gain the exposure to various B2B and B2C industries.

​Responsibilities

Content Strategy:

  • Develop comprehensive content strategies: Align content with overarching business goals and target audience needs.
  • Conduct in-depth market research: Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, consumer behaviours, and competitive landscapes.
  • Develop and maintain brand guidelines: Ensure consistent messaging and tone across all content channels.
  • Optimize content performance: Continuously analyze and refine content strategies based on data-driven insights.

Content Creation and Management:

  • Oversee content creation: Collaborate with graphic designers, and other stakeholders to produce high-quality content.
  • Manage content calendars: Coordinate content production, scheduling, and distribution across various channels.
  • Optimize content for SEO: Implement best practices to improve search engine visibility and organic traffic.
  • Curate and distribute content: Share relevant and engaging content from third-party sources.

Social Media and Community Engagement:

  • Develop and manage social media strategies: Create and execute effective social media campaigns.
  • Engage with the target audience: Respond to comments, messages, and reviews in a timely and professional manner.
  • Measure and analyze social media performance: Track key metrics and identify opportunities for improvement.

Analytics and Reporting:

  • Implement tracking and measurement tools: Utilize analytics software to monitor content performance.
  • Analyze data and provide insights: Generate actionable reports and recommendations based on data-driven findings.
  • Identify key performance indicators (KPIs): Define and track metrics relevant to content strategy goals.

The successful candidate should possess the following qualifications and qualities:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or a related field.
  • Experience: At least 1 year of experience in digital marketing.
  • Skills:
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Ability to effectively present content performance data and insights to clients.
  • Strong knowledge of social media management, search engine optimization (SEO), search engine marketing (SEM), Google Analytics, and Google AdWords.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong team player, open-minded, enthusiastic, and eager to learn.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative abilities.
  • Ability to research, analyze, and address complex business problems.
  • Proficiency in both English and Bahasa Malaysia is encouraged.
