The Regulatory and Statutory Reporting Specialist will ensure compliance with various regulatory requirements, including the Insurance Act and Income Tax regulations. Key responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining compliance with relevant regulations and assisting in the analysis of quarterly USGAAP results.
  • Preparing and submitting MAS regulatory returns and quarterly GST returns accurately and on time.
  • Supporting the preparation of management reports and liaising with external auditors and tax agents.
  • Assisting in the preparation of IFRS 17 financial statements in collaboration with various teams.
  • Participating in ad-hoc projects as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or CPA/ACCA.
  • 3 - 5 years of reinsurance experience or insurance/reinsurance experience in a Big 4 accounting firm.
  • Strong understanding of Singapore Insurance Act and financial accounting standards; knowledge of IFRS 17 is a plus.
  • Proficient in English and Microsoft Office, especially Excel; familiarity with Peoplesoft is advantageous.
  • Excellent attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently.
