The Role

We are in search of an experienced program manager with strong analytical, problem-solving and risk management skills. Ability to work efficiently and manage effective relationships in a cross-functional organization to meet commitments for successful customer program launches. Must be self-directed and work in complex and dynamic ecosystems.

The Person

As a Program Manager you will partner with our cross functional teams to manage customer accounts and their portfolio, understand our customers platforms/solutions. Identify and document customer requirements and establish engineering schedules. Drive AMD product solution deliverables and alignment with customers’ platforms to ensure highest level customer satisfaction throughout their product lifecycle.

Responsibilities

  • Drive/Manage program schedule development and execute tactical plans to support Product Development
  • Program budget planning to support Product development execution
  • Drive schedule readiness for engineering test solutions to support 1st Si bring-up activities.
  • Interface & communicate with cross-functional groups for full alignment, reporting and drive improvements
  • Coordinate to qualify production test solutions for production capacity installation at OSAT
  • Provide engineering support to production control and OSAT
  • Lead / participate in teams and task forces to resolve production issues
  • Manage Product Life Cycle management phase gate review


Requirements

  • Degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering / Computer Engineering, preferably with 10 to 15 years of relevant experience or equivalent OR
  • Experience and effective in Project Management and Program Management
  • Effective leadership, interpersonal and communication skills
  • Effective management of revision control and change processes
  • Good knowledge of techniques for planning, monitoring and controlling program
  • Proficiency in managing multiple tasks simultaneously, adept at adapting to frequent changes and accommodating last-minute requests
  • Advocate for integrating work and life seamlessly rather than striving for work-life balance
  • General knowledge in IC technologies, fabrication, customer process and application
  • General understanding of all phases of manufacturing / operations
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Independent, resourceful and proactive


Academic Credentials

  • Formal project management education, PMP / Scrum Master
