Technical Specialist (Oil & Gas, Petrochemical Flow Solutions)

We are seeking an experienced Technical Specialist for focusing on the Oil & Gas and Petrochemical Industries. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of onsite field experience with fluid control or products. Key responsibilities include providing on-site services, recommending improvements, and facilitating training courses for customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct engineering evaluations and provide expert advisory services on customer fluid systems
• Perform leak testing, ensuring quality compliance with established procedures.
• Supervise field tubing installations contractors to meet specifications.
• Collaborate with end-users for root cause analyses and generate detailed findings reports.
• Prepare, and present technical reports with recommended solutions to clients.
• Coordinate with site contractors on logistical and permits.
• Deliver training courses, addressing customer inquiries, registrations, post-training activities (certificate issuance, customer feedback), and maintaining training materials and records.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in instrument/ Mechanical Engineering or related science/ technical discipline
• Min 3 years of onsite sales experience in instrumentation or process industry.
• Strong technical knowledge of fluid systems and relevant engineering practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration.
• Proficient in MS Office, Power BI, QuickBooks/ SAP B1
• Ability to learn new business systems and software
• Willingness to travel within Singapore, the Philippines, and Brunei
