Senior/Manager, Contracts Management

Responsibilities:

• Assist the Project Architect in managing contracts, monitoring construction progress, and ensuring compliance with project milestones.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, and contractors to address project and contractual matters.
• Attend and lead meetings as needed.
• Prepare tender documents, evaluate tenders, and draft contract documents.
• Resolve contractual issues, prepare notices and claims, and assess extensions of time.
• Develop and manage project master programs.
• Review and assess contract documents prepared by lawyers and quantity surveyors.
• Prepare fee proposals, consultancy claims, and sub-consultant agreements.
• Maintain thorough project documentation for claims management.

Requirements:

• Degree in Building/Construction Management/Construction Economics/Science in Building/Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
• At least 10 years of experience in projects using PSSCOC, SIA Building Contracts, or REDAS Conditions of Contract.
• Experience in various stages of building projects, from inception to final completion.
• Strong understanding of local building contract conditions.
• Knowledge of construction programs, scheduling, and Microsoft Office.
• Effective communication, meticulousness, proactivity, teamwork, and time management.
