Roles and Responsibilities
- Implements Growth Strategy with strategic commercial plan suited to APAC sub-regions around existing installed base of Grid technologies to grow Service business.
- Work on strategies for business development & growth per product. Develop strategies for installed base per product, and strategies to win new business and customers.
- Work closely with Services Sales leaders to track and improve the strategic utilization of existing sales resources.
- Coordinate between Commercial Team and Technical Team to provide competitive strategies, solutions, bids and proposals to Customers.
- Assessing current commercial performance against established business goals and adjusting strategies as needed.
- Discovers and explores business opportunities. Screens potential business deals by analyzing market strategies, deal requirements, and financials.
- Locates or proposes potential business deals by contacting potential partners.
- Pursuing strategic opportunities and moving them through the sales cycle
- Manages deals as well as coaches other Sales/Project Managers on the implementation of improvements.
- Work closely with Key Account Managers/ Country Managers to leverage, build and maintain close customer relationship and sales opportunities.
- Includes working collaboratively with internal teams during bid or tender stages of proposal, bidding and negotiation to ensure deal closure.
- Liaising supporting and motivating Third Parties (Channel Partner) in achieving growth sales target.
- Setting goals and developing plans for business and revenue growth
- Build a return of experience (ROE) process and ensure results are shared with the entire organization.
- Coordinate with Finance and Execution Team for reporting purposes.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent discipline.
- 10-15years of Experience within Execution/Proposal/Tendering/ Sales and Business Development
- Strong customer service mind set
- Track record of negotiating and closing deals
- Demonstrable High level of integrity and role model with respect to GEV values
- Prior experience for APAC markets and first-hand view of the customers/ partners is a mandatory requirement.
- Demonstrable success in building, managing, mentoring and promoting a successful team.
- Ability to effectively work in a multi-functional team and operate within a matrix organization with transparency and trust.
- Experience and ability to define and implement a negotiation strategy.
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
- Driving culture, positive mindset on change management.
- Demonstrated ability to investigate and resolve problems.
- Strong background in one or more of our technologies across the broad range of our product offerings.
- Strong attention to details ensuring team test and document outcomes and actions.
