As part of the of the Client Services Department, the Digital Marketing Strategist plays a critical role in expanding our new division. You'll collaborate with Sales to pitch digital marketing and performance content services, provide strategic guidance, and deliver measurable results to current and prospective clients,

The ideal candidate is strategic, data-driven, and client-focused, with extensive hands-on experience in all aspects of digital marketing. They ensure client satisfaction, retention, and account growth, easily explaining marketing concepts to clients and colleagues. They possess excellent cross-cultural communication and organization skills to successfully manage client stakeholders and internal teams.

This role will reporting to the Regional Director of Digital Marketing Services.

Description

  • Work alongside Sales and the wider client services team to sell Search Engine Optimization (SEO), Search Engine Marketing (SEM), social media and performance content to both existing and prospective clients by contributing to RFPs, client pitches, strategic proposals, and Quarterly Business Reviews
  • Manage a client services team of digital marketing specialists
  • Lead research and strategy (audits, competitor analyses, keyword research, content opportunity analyses) and present findings and recommendations confidently to clients
  • Oversee successful execution of multiregional strategies by our global digital production teams, liaising with client HQ, local stakeholders and agency partners if needed
  • Own performance monitoring and reporting of all key accounts in the team: work with junior team members to set up performance monitoring dashboards and deliver monthly performance reports with insights and recommendations
  • Continuously research and select the best tools and templates to support our digital marketing offering and incorporate those into existing workflows and processes
  • Keep up to date on trends, technologies and market leaders, and share this knowledge with colleagues and clients
  • Complete all other tasks that are deemed appropriate for this role and assigned by the manager/supervisor

Required Skills

  • Excellent written and spoken English and Chinese communication skills as you will be communicating internally and externally in both languages

  • Proficient in calculating discounts, interest, and commissions for practical solutions.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Confident in coordinating teams and providing constructive feedback.
  • Experience in leading data-driven digital marketing strategies (Paid Search, SEO, Content Marketing, Social Media).
  • Familiar with evolving digital marketing practices and proven leadership in digital marketing teams and strategies.
  • Skilled in assigning complex tasks and analyzing business processes for improvement.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or related field.
  • 8-10 years of digital marketing experience (SEO/SEM and/or social media).
  • Strong IT skills, including proficiency in Excel and industry tools (SEMRush, Moz, Google Analytics).
  • Experience in team management and development.
  • Background in auditing websites and social media for strategic improvement.
  • Expertise in planning and managing global SEO and paid media campaigns.
  • Collaboration experience with Sales and New Business Development.
