Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced NPI (New Product Introduction) Process Engineer with a strong background in Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA). The successful candidate will play a critical role in transitioning new products from design to mass production, ensuring that designs are optimized for efficient and cost-effective manufacturing and assembly processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with design and manufacturing teams to ensure smooth product transitions from design to production.
  • Apply DFM/DFA principles to evaluate product designs and recommend changes to improve manufacturability and assembly efficiency.
  • Lead the introduction of new products into the manufacturing line, managing all aspects of process development and validation.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, quality, and supply chain, to ensure all product requirements are met.
  • Identify and resolve manufacturing and process issues during the NPI phase.
  • Develop and implement process controls to maintain high product quality and yield.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to production teams for continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Process Engineering or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in NPI within the semiconductor manufacturing industry.
  • Strong knowledge and application of DFM/DFA principles.
  • Experience in process development and validation for high-tech manufacturing environments.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams in product development and introduction.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and project management skills.
