Job Summary:

• Assist in building / facilities preventive and ad-hoc maintenance work.

• Preparing the list of works, materials, tools, machineries and items to be used.

• Conduct periodic routine inspections for the proper operation of the facility.

• Assist in the supervision of maintenance and servicing works carried out by contractors.

• Manage service contractors and sub-contractors on site work and report irregularities to site manager.

• Hands-on and able to carry out handyman and breakdown maintenance works.

• To diagnose on building related faults and perform immediate minor rectification works.

• Carry out all preventive and corrective maintenance in the building/facility.

• Experienced in repairing of door accessories and hardware, painting work and carpentry works as and

when required.

• Hands-on support and able to carry out handyman and breakdown maintenance works (e.g. Building

repair works, basic carpentry works, sanitary & plumbing defects & etc.)

• Documentation of scheduled routine findings and rectification.

• Attend to all work orders issued by the operation and management.

• Routine inspection on building/facility, building fixtures and fittings & etc.

• Any other ad-hoc duties as and when assigned by supervisor.

• Understand contract deliverables and obligations.

• Proactive in looking for cost saving and value-add opportunities.

• On time and accurate updating Client and Site Facility Manager.

• Be professional in communicating and maintain good relationship with co-workers.

• A good team player at site and Sodexo office

• Maintain records of inventory of consumable and raise request when stock is low.

• Timely update of SAP for all Work Order raised.

• Keep Site FM informed of any issues, incidents and any other matters that needs his/her attention.

• Responsible and adherence to all Safety, Health and Environment Procedures and Reporting

• Any other ad-hoc projects as assigned by Management

Knowledge, Skill and Abilities Required:

• Minimum NITEC in Building Services / Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or equivalent

Public

• Minimum two (2) years of relevant working experience in building maintenance

• Good knowledge and hands on experience in building, mechanical & electrical systems

• Strong verbal and written communication skills, pro-active and self-driven

• Able to interact with people and a good team player

• Knowledge on Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) will be added advantage
