Job Overview:

We are seeking a Strategic People Advisor with global experience to join our team, based either in Malaysia, Hong Kong, or Singapore. The successful candidate will work closely with the Commercial Director to support the commercial team and play a pivotal role in building a new global sales organization. This role requires experience in leading large-scale transformation projects and a background in management consulting with MBB, tier 2, or Big 4 firms. A vibrant, proactive approach and the ability to navigate complex global HR environments are essential for success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Partnership: Collaborate with the Commercial Director to align workforce strategies with commercial objectives and business goals on a global scale
  • Sales Organization Development: Lead the design, recruitment, and establishment of a new global sales organization, focusing on talent acquisition, onboarding, and performance optimization.
  • End-to-End Transformation: Spearhead large-scale, end-to-end transformation projects, including restructuring, organizational design, and cultural change, ensuring successful implementation and sustainability.
  • HR Consulting & Advisory: Provide strategic HR consulting support, including workforce planning, succession management, and leadership development, ensuring alignment with business goals and commercial growth.
  • Change Management: Develop and execute change management strategies to support commercial teams through complex transformations, ensuring minimal disruption and high engagement.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong relationships with global stakeholders, collaborating effectively across regions to ensure alignment on HR initiatives, regulatory compliance, and best practices.
  • Employee Engagement & Culture Building: Foster a vibrant and inclusive work environment through proactive engagement, talent development initiatives, and a strong focus on building a positive organizational culture.
  • Global Workforce Strategy Execution: Align global workforce initiatives with local market needs, ensuring successful execution across regions while navigating regulatory and cultural differences.

Qualifications:

  • Management consulting experience with MBB (McKinsey, BCG, Bain), tier 2 firms, or Big 4 (Deloitte, PwC, EY, KPMG).
  • Proven track record of leading large-scale, global transformation projects across multiple regions and functions.
  • Experience in building out new sales organizations, ideally in a global commercial context.
  • Outstanding communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage and influence senior leadership and diverse stakeholders.
  • A vibrant, energetic personality with a solution-oriented mindset and a passion for driving positive organizational change.
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to handle multiple, complex initiatives simultaneously.
