Role Summary:

Assist in preparing investment analysis for growth projects across value chain of different segments, long-range and strategic plans, and market intelligence. This includes the conduct of special studies for top management in areas such as the organization's operational effectiveness, capacity utilization, operating cost containment, etc.

Responsibilities:

You are on a journey to join an one of the leaders of vegetable oil industry. Here we will equip you with the know-how and experience that will define your growth. In this role that you are about to embark on, you are required to carry out the following responsibilities:

  • Conduct corporate finance analysis such as comprehensive industry and target research, valuation – discounted cash flow, listed company and precedent transactions analysis, IRR, payback, industry operational and financial benchmarking, and acquisition financing.
  • Mergers and acquisitions of mid-stream and downstream targets.
  • Joint Ventures and Greenfield project assessments.
  • Strategic Planning and business development for RGE group of companies.
  • Responsible for market and opportunity analytics and presenting findings to senior management including marco economics and asset level evaluation.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, it is recommended that you should have the following skills and qualifications:

  • Good degree in Finance, Accountancy, Engineering, Business Administration, Mathematics or Sciences, from a reputable university. MBA, CFA will be considered favourably.
  • At least 1 year of experience in a corporate/strategic planning role, or from M&A or Corporate Finance teams of investment banks, financial advisory firms, boutique consulting firms, private equity firms, global MNCs, etc.
  • It is crucial for the applicant to have hands-on financial modeling skill
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills – both in oral and written form
  • Good knowledge of strategic planning, corporate finance, valuation techniques and investment principles.
  • Strong corporate finance and technical capabilities, covering industry analysis, comparable company analysis, precedent transactions analysis, discounted cash flow analysis, acquisition financing, funding, financial review and benchmarking with competitors, etc.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team. Must have in-depth deal transaction experience from start to finish. Self-motivated, driven, resourceful, creative in solving difficult issues, strong commercial sense and results-oriented.
  • Possess high integrity, professionalism, maturity, positive work attitude and ethnics, versatile, hands-on approach, good attention to details.
