Global Procurement Category Manager
As a Procurement Global Category Manager, you will be responsible for optimising inbound supply chains, maintaining strong vendor relationships, and driving procurement excellence within the ship material supply sector.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct analysis of purchasing trends and commodity development for total cost optimisation, as well as identify possible new vendors and products
- Oversee supplier relations and business review follow-ups for Strategic Partners
- Drive the defining, item aligning, and execution of assortment programs regionally and globally
- Take a data-driven approach in setting key objectives and targets for procurement category strategies
- Ensure alignment and execution of best practices within procurement and throughout the business
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor degree in Engineering or Business
- Enjoy working with numbers to drive strategic decision-making
- Minimum of 5 years experience working in Procurement Category Management, specialising in technical store categories
- Experience working in a global matrix organisation would be a plus
- Strong communicator with the ability to negotiate with and influence stakeholders
