Key Responsibilities such as:

  • Strategic Outreach: Proactively identify and engage with potential institutional and individual partners to explore opportunities for collaboration. This includes initiating contact, pitching proposals, and fostering relationships through networking events, industry conferences, and direct outreach.
  • Partnership Exploration: Assess the strategic alignment of potential partners across various dimensions such as product and technology integration, co-branding opportunities, co-hosting events, and broader ecosystem collaborations. Aim to create synergies that drive mutual growth and enhance brand visibility.
  • Market Research: Conduct thorough market analysis to understand industry trends, identify emerging markets, and analyze competitor strategies. Use these insights to tailor outreach strategies and prioritize partnership opportunities.
  • Deal Structuring: Negotiate terms and coordinate the structuring of deals to maximize benefits for both parties. This includes discussing contracts, setting expectations, and aligning goals.
  • Follow-up and Relationship Maintenance: Establish a systematic approach for follow-up communications with potential and existing partners. Maintain active engagement to foster long-term relationships and identify new opportunities for expansion or deeper collaboration.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain detailed records of business development activities, including interactions, negotiations, and agreements. Regularly report on progress and outcomes to senior management, providing insights and recommendations for future strategies.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years in Technical Sales Experience or Business Development, preferably within industries such as software, cloud services, cybersecurity, or fintech.
  • Adaptability and Composure: Skilled at managing multiple shifting priorities with emotional intelligence, maintaining focus under pressure.
  • Blockchain Insight: Holds strong opinions on promising blockchain projects and can articulate the rationale behind these views.
  • Previous experience in a venture capital setting is a plus, providing insight into investment trends and strategic partnership opportunities in the tech and crypto sectors.
  • Ability to pivot strategies on the fly in a rapidly evolving crypto landscape, with enthusiasm for dynamic project scopes and changing priorities.
  • Proven experience in creating and scaling community-driven projects, demonstrating a capacity to build and nurture user-focused ecosystems effectively.
  • Base in Singapore, with flexibility to work remotely and potential future on-site availability.
